FUNDRAISING - CANDY "BUY OUT" OPTION

In order to continue to provide quality programs for our children, it is necessary to conduct fundraisers. One of our most successful over the years has been the candy sale. This year we are offering parents the option to "buy out". Instead of selling 40 candy bars, you may pay $20 at registration instead of selling candy later in the summer. Please note that we require each child to sell 1 case of candy or in this case, pay $20 for the buyout.

ADDITIONAL FUNDRAISING

At least one additional fundraiser may be held late in the summer and all children will be asked to participate. The Board of the SVYSA is in the process of looking at other types of fundraisers and additional information will be made available when a decision is made.

VOLUNTEERING

All parents will be required to volunteer in activities including snack bar, field setup, chains, and other duties needed to run practices and games. Team moms from each level will coordinate assigned duties for each family.
